KEEPING YOUR POND CLEAN
Keeping ponds healthy and clean is easy! All you have to do is follow these simple tips to keep your pond healthy and clean!
Besides the normal different kinds of aquatic species, many land species, including insect pollinators, birds, bats, and other mammals rely on ponds for water, food, and habitat. It's important to keep area ponds health for all the surrounding habitats to survive.
Always make sure your pond and the area around your pond is in good shape! For example: No trash and/or sticks.
Outflow pipes should be frequently inspected for debris, which can clog and cause damage to the pond structure.
If there is life in and/or around your pond then make sure the animals are doing well, make sure to contact a wildlife officer if you see a animal that is sick or unwell.
